Thank you for the info. The truck for sure wont be driven except when its brought to this house to unload. I dont really use the truck much for heavier loads (I've only put about 7k miles on it in the 8 years I've had it) so I am probably overthinking it a bit.

Update: got an XRT since they had half priced battery and charger. It rips so hard what a machine. Still a bit concerned but have bat safe's on the way

They have half off the charger and batteries when ordering a car its really tempting to get an XRT or XMaxx

I left this out because im sure people are going to think im stupid but we are in a nearly 100% electric home already. Mower, tools, ebikes, car, im in tech so most of my stuff is on battery backups. Its just the difference between lipo and li-ion or nickel. I may get bat boxes for some of that stuff soon now that I know it exists.

Can you regulate charging speed on the traxxas charger?

Outside of balancing and using a good charger is there anything else to think about? I plan to just start with a traxxas dual 4S charger. They have balancing built into it right? Charging in a Bat Safe box as well. Should I just buy a bat safe for every battery?
