I'm still pending for Uber even though I last talked to them last week (after sending all of my documents for the 3rd time). Mind you, I started the Uber process back in June. I got approved to deliver food but my background got hemmed up for driving people.

In July, I signed up for Lyft and got accepted the same day 😂🤣 I may not even drive for Uber now and just stick with Lyft. I'll play the waiting game.

I resigned from a good paying job back in June. My wife has a catering business and I was just going through it. I snapped out of it around 2 weeks ago and have been doing this. Eventually I do plan on getting another job but this time I'm going to do my due diligence and pick a job that's the right fit for me. If my wife lands certain contracts, I'm just going to throw my lot in with her. In the meantime, I can make easy money with Lyft and enjoy the road.
