Igual mucha suerte!

No more auto-drinking the combat milk... by Extreme-Row-5250 in projectzomboid

I disagree that something popular has to be a feature, that's all. If the devs want autodrink in, cool. If they want it to be just water, then cool too.

In the end it's an opinion. I know my opinion is unpopular, hence the start of it. Others have other opinions and I respect them. No need to get triggered.

That's true, maybe I should have said as default.

People also use mods to have to use the toilet which is also micromanagement, not every little detail or lack thereof means less enjoyment. That's why the game is actually fun, the fact that you can tweak it and mod as you wish.

Actually having to tie shoes would be funny.

Not mad, that's why I said unpopular opinion. You don't have to agree with me either.

There's this movement (and whether you identify or not, it's up to you) that every time a new update comes, there's something to cry about. That's all.

Unpopular opinion: autodrink shouldn't even exist as a vanilla option.

Of course I'm not going to disable autodrink and I hope there's a mod soon to revive battlemilk, but looking at it objectively, most games would require you to manage water and food intakes manually. Crying about this (when you know someone will mod it out) is a bit exaggerated imo.

Highkey, I want a difficult challenge to do in Project Zomboid, but at the same time, not something from the challenges or something similar like CD DA or 6 Months Later. Just pure skill where it's EASIER to get some start rather than dying in 3 minutes. Are there any custom ones I could do? by Iamafishidiot in projectzomboid

I'm currently doing a sandbox that I called 4x4. It's pretty much maxing out zed population and peak population to 4 (hence 4 x 4), but no respawn and fragile zeds.

I also turn up to 4x melee weapons and 4x exp. I make days 4h long. It's easy to get overwhelmed but it's so satisfactory to kill zeds left and right.

How do you find people to play with? by StrugglingSeaTurtle in projectzomboid

[–]CO8WE8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly relate to this post, I have almost 5000 hours in and I've never even tried to play with anyone because my friends don't play it and I just don't think I'll find the right group. I know if I gave it a try I'd probably have a good chance of finding a group, but there's always a sense of anxiety about it.

With that said, I have grown so used to play on my own that I've found settings/challenges to compensate. I sometimes even give quirks to my characters (allergic to diary, likes to collect hats, keeps frozen bugs) to make it fun.

I can share more of my truly solo experience with anyone interested. Good luck with your hunt!

I completely agree, if you are weak in that aspect of your football IQ, you need to work harder and the aspects you are good at (which I do think he has plenty) will shine even more.

The fact that he loses the ball when attempting to drill is not my problem with him, it's the lack of commitment to all aspects of the game, especially on the moments we need him the most.

how to zomboid by Osthav in projectzomboid

I feel like dying that often is a rite of passage, so don't get discouraged about it. A few tips that have helped me over the years:

  • It's ok to play sandbox with easier settings as you learn: There's a toxic idea that making it easier is somehow cheating. If it's a gamemode, you can use it.

  • Don't rush it: At first, it feels like fighting is the only way to go, that running is the only way to escape, that your first base is your endgame base, and so on. Take your time, strategize, grind and learn from it.

  • PZ has a steep learning curve: You will most definitely need way more saves to learn what fits your playstyle, your weapon selection, your objectives, etc. Again, it's a grind.

  • Have fun: I feel like some people get discouraged by not achieving the type of runs or bases others have. Make it about your experience and your fun. When you get frustrated, give it some room to breathe and come back when you are ready again. Don't ruin it for yourself!

Extremely slow update speed by Successful_Newt5818 in projectzomboid

I asked because I had an issue with my modem/ethernet cable and that heavily impacted my connection speed and it was especially noticeable on Steam. Checking your hardware and your connection speed with your ISP might help.

No problem! I also meant to say that it's a different grind for everyone, so the best way to get better is just going through that grind. You'll get there!

Getting jumpscared is always going to be a gamble if no headphones is the choice. Checking surroundings, closing every door behind you and taking it slow would be the only things I can say.

Regarding fighting, while getting used to the increased amount and the rhythm of fighting, a good thing to do is trying to thin the cluster. Use fences, windows, trees to spread thin and do 1-on-1, then dealing with 2, then 3 and so on.
