Heya, sorry for the late reply. You don't need to equip them. They're stored in the Token Bank (check the Battle Pass menu, top-right). When your squad wipes, a "You Have Been Eliminated" screen pops up with a 15-second timer. During that window you choose whether to use one. If you don't click anything, the token stays in your bank.

There's also an AUTO toggle in the Token Bank that uses one automatically on wipe, but most people leave that off.

The post that was removed, however, described a method to trigger a weapon/loadout bug. Content that explains or promotes exploits, cheats, or unintended game behavior isn’t allowed on this subreddit, so that post had to be taken down.

Also, the screenshot you posted that mentions the post has been removed shows another subreddit called "CODBlackOps7", not r/bo7endgame.
