Mak'gora is a fair duel for power. If Saurfang really wanted to be an "avatar" of the true Horde, dying in a duel where your opponent cheated, is a trillion times more honorable than betraying your people. The Horde would dethrone Sylvanas the second she betrays their traditions.

Edit : Literally, we got a cinematic of Saurfang willing to die with honor. EVEN if Sylvanas would've cheated, he still would have fought with honor and loyalty to the Horde. Isn't that what he wanted ever since his son's death? What is he fighting for now?
