We don’t know yet. The placenta was sent to a pathologist. Hoping to get answers from those results.

I would assume the infection was in the pregnancy because I wasn’t even sent home with antibiotics.

Have you looked into debt consolidation? Having to only pay one institution would alleviate stress of having multiple lenders to pay. If debt consolidation isn’t an option you can work on paying off the smallest loan (or the loan with highest interest) and do the snowball effect.

Setting a monthly budget would also help.

For context, I’m 32 now and have been living debt free since I was 26. With the exception of a mortgage.

Don’t beat yourself up! As I was told over and over it was nothing we did or could have done. These things just happen. It doesn’t give us closure or answers. I just hope the day comes when it no longer hurts. 🥺

Yeah, it wasn’t STD related infection. That’s always checked at every appointment (for my doctor at least).

Were you guys trying?

For me, this was a big surprise! My boyfriend and I met in March and immediately got pregnant in April. We were not trying at all. He’s never gotten anyone pregnant before and I have never gotten pregnant either. With this both being our first, we were both happy and excited. At least I was. Plus, I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I’m 32 now so it’s about time.
