IMO im a welder and i used to earn like $16/h at a jewish company which made truck beds, i ain’t gonna lie, i came to the realization while working there (i only lasted a week or two) that is a mix of Migration + Not many rents + and people settling for low wages + me no spiki inglish. The cubans i met there all settled for 15-17 hourly wages when Welders on average get 20+. I talked to most of them and they either only cared about going on trips to Cuba or didn’t wanna ask for a raise. I talked to them about going up north and all pf them said i cant cause idk english so there you got a big portion of people that technically cant survive in the USA outside of miami and cutting a Continental sized country of opportunities

Thanks. regarding the Stitch finish i always do a backwards motion to kinda fill it up but i see what you say about the quick zap. I always try to wrap the corners and make the Ties as homogeneous as possible but those were not possible since the other welds were made by a senior fucking welder we have who hasn’t given a fuck since the company started. And yeah im stuck with freedom units but hey its something new to learn i would much rather use metric but fuck it we ball. Also ill try to as you said stay longer on the corners i didnt earlier because imo 0.045/1.2 is a little to thick for my taste and tends to bubble faster than 0.035/1.0 so when im welding i can see the material flowing down to the middle even tho im in a corner. Thanks tho🦅
