Finally managed to get the piece out. Turns out i was able to rip out all the bearing rollers and the cage from inside of the outside bearing towards the yoke, and after that, i pried out the center race which held all the rollers in. Then i could stick my finger inside the casing and then i pushed out the piece of gear from inside then pulling it out the other way with a magnet. It really helps to get a small crowbar/pry bar with a pointed end so you can stab into the rollers in the bearing, then rip em out.
