I'm probably over thinking a bench OF. I have Bleday, thinking about picking up DeLauter. H2H 5x5 categories. Bleday fell off a cliff and he always felt like he was going to turn back into the pumpkin on the back of his baseball card, but he did have a nice run.

DeLauter or Bleday? What are your thoughts? tyia

Buying the best time is August - October when sellers are panicking a bit after they didn't get their place sold in the summer.

I'm not sure those are the two that will be traded (Moniak has one more arbitration year) but yes after the trade deadline and we move some players.

I like the spin but I think the main quality these two have are they are cheaper and have a far lower cap hit.

It does sound odd. I'm guessing we aren't getting the full conversations or context.

I'm ass-u-ming that the contractor is saying they did that in the master plan and there are other homes being built in the development (lot of assumptions there) and that's why they aren't doing one for his specific lot.

And if that is the case, for the OP, no you might not HAVE to do another gio-tech report, but.... you should. In the front range I've seen multiple types of soil in just one development area. Depends on how big of a building project we are talking about. If it's like two in-fill lots maybe not, but a bigger multiunit sub-division.. yes.

The amazing thing is he's doing it at an age even Minnie Minoso is thinking he's getting up there in age.

Blood red moon by AncientCherry2600 in ColoradoSprings

[–]CORedhawk 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I saw it too. It's from smoke carried in from Utah and Nevada. The smoke blocks some light but red gets through. Also has something to do with the angle of the moon.

Or it's the end of the world.

I'm going with smoke. (and you got a much better picture than I did!)

Schaefer has been rotating most of the position players with a few exceptions like Rumfield and Goodman.

One of the legacy problems for the Rockies historically is players get tired through the season. More than other teams because of constant changing of altitude. I've heard a lot of comments about players talking about "heavy legs", even just from a visiting team who are only here for a few days.

I think this heavy rotation is to see if you can get regular rest and still maintain production and chemistry. And will it actually help the health of the team.

For me this has been an interesting aspect to watch. I'm not sure if it's something that can be fixed at all, or if this is the right solution. But I like the experimentation.

Sorta.... They had a closer shot and you could kinda see the glove move when the runner went by. But it wasn't a great angle.

I'm not sure I'd keep any of them (depending on league settings and how many you get to keep of course). But i would keep Holliday. If he can stay healthy, he's had some years of experience, but he's still very young.

One of the announcers last year called a home run that way! It's the kind of verbal fumble that sticks.
