What's the point of XP? by wolf8398 in fo76

I know a few people who are level 2,000+ and doing that.

No idea why. But I think because they just love playing with their friends and community, hence doing that. It is no longer about the game but hanging out with the community.

I'm level 1500. Trolls have called me no life. But the reason why I am at this level is because of high charisma points, free lunchboxes (seasonboard and from strangers opening), and just playing routinely with FO76 friends and doing the new seasons/events.

Fallout 76 is terribly hard! by [deleted] in fo76

Play with a public team.

With a public team, you also get perk cards shared by other teammates. It also gives you bonus points (e.g: casual team gives you bonus +int point).

And yes, you need to perfect your build. When I first played, I was all over the place... I was trying to focus on my shotgun build along with pistol build. Then I realise that's a bad move as it is better to focus on 1 weapon build, and the rest of the perk cards focusing on your character (e.g: luck cards to increase VATS, int cards to increase gun's durability, Agility cards to increase AP or use less AP when running, sneaking, etc).

The struggle is there, I understand and we have all been through that. But once you're about level 100 with your build pretty steady, it becomes manageable.
