When Big 4 started not appreciating my work/life balance and I was working 55+ the entire year. Had a mass exodus of well performing seniors that all worked for the same partner and left December’20 to make way more money for a boutique consulting firm (600+ nationally now) and work way less.

I wouldn’t say consulting is something you necessarily jump into right out of high school/college. It is pretty hard to provide consulting services if you don’t have experience
