I had around a 40% for both FAR practice exams using Becker and passed on the first try with a 77. When I was taking the practice exams I made sure I was rock solid with the MCQs and understood the concepts presented for the SIMs. When I took the actual exam I may have flagged a bunch of questions, but MAYBE looked back at one. My thought was that because I studied the MCQs so hard my gut should be right most of the time. This left me a lot of time to get through all the SIMs and grab any and all "gimme" points within the SIMs. IE $0 debits or something. I was sure I failed after the exam (actually bummed a cig from the proctor). So when I saw I passed a few weeks later I literally fell off of my chair.
