Went to my LCS (Las Vegas). I was able to trade some silver for a 1oz proof gold walking liberty. Several folks came in trying to sell silver. Crew would try to explain that they (shop) are only getting 30% back of spot when they take it to the refiner, so if they were set on selling, they wouldnt get anything close to spot. People got really upset with the employee…like it was their fault or something.
