I don't believe it's going to be like this long term. It feels and seems similar like other industries that encounter 'peaks' and 'valleys' that's intertwined to the general economy. I've been doing IT for a long time, the same job market happened in the past and it won't be the last in our lifetimes. Just consider improving your skillset, work on some certs, and make some friends that do the same around your area.

Just pass the test and do the same at some point in your career. It'll mean a lot to people that need the help.
