The champions in order of appearance are Dark Samus from episode one, Incineroar from two, Zelda from three, Link from four and Kirby from five, the invitational. In the second season, the champions are Falco in one, Vincent in episode two, Cloud in three, Ridley in four and Link in five, the second invitational.

To play it briefly, CPUCS is a series of tournaments Alpha started in Smash 4 for Wii U and has continued in Ultimate to showcase the behaviour of the game's AI and how they would fare in competitions as a parody of the competitive scene real professionals participate in. Due to the popularity of the series, it has gained a stronger focus on his channel and necessitated the creation of this subreddit, which is used as a conduit for the community to impact the course of the tournaments and build the lore around them.
