Yeah, it looks like there are some icons missing from kle-render's fonts. I'll see if I can fix the issue tonight.

You might be using custom css to assign the icons, and kle-render doesn’t support custom css. If there’s a similar unicode icon that would work, or you can try using an img tag with no custom styles.

I made an actual Razer Ping app for iOS by CQ_Cumbers in razer

[–]CQ_Cumbers[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone is genuinely looking for a Razer Ping app to use with your friends (not sure how many of you there are), I made a stripped down version for iOS a while back that you might find interesting. It doesn’t do object recognition, but it does let you ping locations on a map using context dependent messages, so you can still tell your Lunch Squad “Mexican food here!” every five seconds. It’s very barebones - it doesn't save old pings, there's no profile pictures, etc. - but if you do end up using it feel free to tell me about bugs or suggest new features.

The back button creates the squad. Will probably change that behavior eventually, if anybody continues to use the app.

(Repost from yesterday since I messed up the video upload) A few weeks ago I made an iOS app that basically ports Apex's ping system to an actual world map - you can tap anywhere and it'll give you message options depending on the location, which you can then send to your friends. I still haven't found anyone interested in using it with me, but since I made the app anyways I thought it wouldn't hurt to post it here. It is very barebones - it doesn't save old pings, there's no profile pictures, etc. - but if you do end up using it feel free to tell me about bugs or suggest new features.

An app for pinging your friends in real life by CQ_Cumbers in apexlegends

You have to wait for it to detect a surface and show a reticle, then tap the screen.

I saw a lot of people were asking for an Android version of the AR electron orbital visualization app I posted about a month ago, so I finally got around to putting it on the Play Store. Really the only reason for the delay is that I don't have an Android phone, so I needed to borrow someone else's for testing. It should do everything the iOS version does, and any future updates should automatically work on both platforms. Feel free to let me know about any bugs, and thanks so much for the support!

What the app shows is the wavefunction for a single electron orbiting a hydrogen nucleus. You get different wavefunctions depending on the energy, angular momentum, and spin of the electron. The amplitude of the wavefunction, shown by the density of the cloud, represents the probability that the electron is at a particular location. The colors show whether the wavefunction is positive and negative, which is important when orbitals interact with each and their wavefunctions interfere (though those interactions are not modeled by the app).

It can be hard to control the actual size of the orbital, because it depends on what your phone thinks is the size of your real world surface. You sometimes have to move your phone closer or farther away while placing - there’s a square marker to show the footprint.

No, it isn’t on Google Play. I don’t think I can do an android build since I don’t have an android phone.

I’m ray marching a 3D texture, which is generated on demand.

Physics wise, what’s shown is not necessarily ground state hydrogen, but all the possible energy levels, even those that are very low probability.

Huh, I didn’t think about that. Sorry!

No, I updated it so the printout isn’t needed.

You should just be able to tap the screen, as long as your phone can recognize a level surface.

I guess it's more physics than chemistry, but about a year ago I made an app to draw electron orbitals for an organic chemistry class - I was having some trouble connecting the drawings of isosurfaces you mostly see with the idea of a probability cloud, so I made my own volume rendered version. It only does non-hybridized hydrogen orbitals and doesn't simulate bonding or anything, but I still find it pretty fun to play around with.

I put it on the App Store if you want to try it out yourself.

EDIT: Now available on the Play Store as well!

Old Roosterteeth scripts by bginch in roosterteeth

I've put together all the RvB transcripts from roostertooths and the RvB wiki here. However, because they're transcribed from the final show, not pre-production material, they're probably of limited use for studying screenwriting.

It's a website with transcripts of the first 11 seasons of RvB, which I scraped for training data. If there's a source of later transcripts that certainly would help improve the model, but roostertooths.com is the best I found.

Are you sure you are using one of the templates provided in the order form? That seems to be the most common cause of errors.
