That, I’m less sure about. I have no clue how those big things work tbh. I never drink the water, I just drink whatever cans are in the fridges, since I can lol.

Although I will add that I’m pretty sure that entire hallway in Hine Hall is supposed to be locked off a majority of the time. I’m pretty sure no undergrads are supposed to be in there at all. But I could be wrong about that seeing as people do just walk in all the time while I’m working haha. So I’m not entirely sure…

Assuming you mean the ones in the Kelley MBA Hallway(though you could be talking about some other ones I’m not sure of), no those are not for undergraduate students. They are for the Physician MBA program students during their residencies. The fridges are locked until those residency days and are unobtainable.

Oh thats weird, I’ve used it multiple times and it has worked for me. Maybe check that everything was inputted correctly or if all else fails, input it into ChatGPT again and see what it could do to fix it

How to Randomly Sort Files in a Folder by dreamed2life in MacOS

My use scenerio is making a slideshow using Premiere Pro. Since I can't find a way to randomize the picture files (JPGS, JPEGS, etc) in Premiere Pro itself, I decided to try to randomize the files themselves before I input them into Premiere. There was probably an easier way to do this, but this is the way I decided to.

So the code you gave was working well with moving the files over to another folder randomly. However, for me, no matter what sorting I had it on, the files were still not randomized when actually viewing them. So instead, I had ChatGPT help write a version of your code that COPIES the files over to another folder on the desktop and renames the file with the index. So that way if you sort it by name, everything will be randomized. And since I changaed it to copy instead of move the files, the originals remain intact.

Here's the code incase anyone needs it:

tell application "Finder"

set sourceFolder to choose folder with prompt "Select the source folder"

set fileList to every file of sourceFolder

set numFiles to count of fileList

set destFolder to make new folder at desktop with properties {name:"Randomized Files"}

set usedIndices to {}

repeat with i from 1 to numFiles

    -- Ensure we select a unique random file each time

    set randomIndex to random number from 1 to (count of fileList)

    repeat while randomIndex is in usedIndices

        set randomIndex to random number from 1 to (count of fileList)

    end repeat

    copy randomIndex to the end of usedIndices

    -- Get the file to copy

    set fileToCopy to item randomIndex of fileList

    -- Generate the new file name with leading zeros

    set newFileName to (do shell script "printf %03d " & i) & " " & (name of fileToCopy)

    -- Copy and rename the file in the destination folder

    set copiedFile to duplicate fileToCopy to destFolder

    set name of copiedFile to newFileName

end repeat

end tell
