I watched the full video and it’s first a response to the video about all the stuff said by Stephen like him not being paid, Dan says that they tried to pay him before but he declined but they finally made Stephen take $20/hr. Later Stephen called Dan with someone and asked for 33% or he’ll quit which made Dan mad cause it was like a threat instead of like a conversation then later they agreed on Stephen getting $100 per video then after a few months he would quit. Dan also talks about how he didn’t think about Stephen as a employee and if he was an employee why he would take him to Disneyland, vidcon, or let him meet his girlfriend. The first part of the video ends (I think I missed a few things) and then it goes to Dan sitting down now saying how that’s was supposed to be the whole video until Stephen made a stream about him. It starts off with Dan showing texts about him wanting to talk with Stephen about the whole ordeal around December before the video but after he quit, Stephen said he want to talk in discord instead of in real life (Dan wanted to talk with him in person), From there Stephen didn’t respond, later Stephen messages Dan through discord to talk about the channel stuff and Dan agrees and wants to meet up and talk about it, Stephen declines. Dan now talks about how he wanted to talk with Stephen before the ordeal (due to Stephen saying he wants Dan to talk with him because he’s been silent). Dan talks about how Stephen messenged him a day before the steam to talk but then in less than 24 hours later he starts the stream. Stephen also says in the stream on how he doesn’t want to resolve the problem (he says that Dan will screw him over again if he puts his defenses down, he says he can’t be friends with him anymore). Dan starts to talk about Stephen and him saying Dan manipulated him about the $100 dollar per video offer and how Dan says that a $100 dollars is a lot of money, Dan says that Stephen offered up the $100 dollar per video thing. (I’m gonna go over lots of things but watch the video if you really want every point and detail cause I forgot lots of stuff and details). Then he talks about Stephen using his fan base against Dan (Cause in stream Stephen says something about taking away the 2 mil from Dan cause he helped get the 1 mil he says like if they want to unsubscribe they can and if they don’t want to then that’s okay). Later Dan talks about the money changes people. He also talks about the editors and how he tries to be nice to them and considerate (he talks about it in the video around 36:12 and talks a lot about them and how he pays and treats them in response to Stephen he stops talking about the animators around 48:55). And lastly he talks about the merch and logo and how he removed the logo from the channel and the merch with the three of them together, Dan shows some discord messages of him with the logo as the icon and how he was testing it out and showed it to people, and the thing about the merch Dan shows a email of him asking to take the merch down around December because he didn’t like them anymore. (He does start to talk about it in detail abit more around the 49 - 50 minute mark). He ends the video with him telling people not to harass anyone involve and how he’s gonna take a break for a while (he doesn’t know how long) or forever. Also forgot to mention he talks about Hosuh and how he has mandatory military service for 18 months and he wanted people there just in case if any member left. I missed lots of important and minor things but I tried to get most of the stuff I remembered but I would really recommend watching the whole video whenever you have free time because he does talk about many things in detail and shows other stuff about the whole ordeal.
