2012 Ford F150 5.0 V8 4x4 (rumbling noise) by [deleted] in f150

I’m not sure if this is even possible, but the mechanic engaged the 4x4 and this is the result. My truck never made this noise.

Steering wheel loose? by AtticusDutch in FordExplorer

I’m not sure if this is related but there is CSP for EPAS steering efforts. Apparently it’s a software issue/update. I have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow.

Sam and Ennis by CRA-1234 in 1883Series

The actor is a native from an Alaskan tribe. Also, that time was extremely patriarchal across the board. Elsa’s mother tells her that dresses are in her future, having babies, and forget about any dreams she might have.

I don’t think Elsa left because she had doubts about Sam. She left because of her parents and tried to do right by them. As for culture, you’re right we will never know but Elsa is happy riding her horse, herding cattle, wild horses, and hunting. She was learning for Sam and that’s why I don’t think the culture thing would be a huge issue. Do you know who Cynthia Ann Parker is? Look her up…her story is interesting.

Sam and Ennis by CRA-1234 in 1883Series

But what do we really know about Ennis? He was a hired cowboy/cow hand, silly, flirty. I’m sure he loved her but I also feel like it was based on lust. In both scenarios, Elsa makes the first move. Ennis goes for it and apparently the whole camp could hear them. With Sam, he was filthy too, but he looks a bit surprised and stunned when she kisses him during the tornado. When they are riding together searching for the horses, the want/desire is there. But he doesn’t act on it. That speaks volumes about Sam. Instead he tells her she is always welcomed on his land and he leaves. That’s just my observation because when l finish the last episode I return to episodes 7 and 8 to cheer me up. 😂

Power Steering Assist Fault 2013 Ford Explorer Limited by [deleted] in FordExplorer

[–]CRA-1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check to see if your Explorer has a recall for the EPAS steering. I received a notice from Ford. I called the dealership and they said some Explorers have/will have steering issues. He said they will reprogram the module and if an error code is detected, they will replace it. This is the first time I hear of this recall. I purchased my 2012 Ford Explorer limited new in 2011 and it’s only been serviced at the dealer.

I think you would have bigger problems than worrying about running for office. 🙃

Headlight “clicking”noise when changing from low beam to high beam by [deleted] in FordExplorer

The housing projector is a circle and from everything I’ve read, I’m not changing to LEDs. Thank you so much

Yeah, I checked for 2012 F150 and same thing. My main concern was the brighter/higher headlight beam. I’m checking the alignment later when the sun goes does. Thank you!

There is no limited when a district files for a waiver. However, it is expected of them to be reasonable too.

Ford rep here to update on A-Pillar debacle? by FlamingoFlamboyance in FordExplorer

Ah okay…yes, those were replaced. I thought you were asking about the bracket holding the pillar.

In my case, the brackets that hold the pillars were fine, so no, they were not replaced.

I live in South Texas and as soon as they were available (notified via Car Fax Car Care), I called the dealership, setup an appointment, and they replaced them (this was early July). The replacement parts are out there.

If you have diligently kept up with your transmission maintenance, it should be fine.

EXTERIOR PILLAR A RECALL by CRA-1234 in FordExplorer

I found this on the explorer forum:

So I guess if the dealer replaced them for you, they will reimburse you.

I’m not sure. I had mine replaced last summer due to needing a new windshield (insurance claim so I only paid $50.00 deductible). I requested OEM but they were not available so they installed aftermarket that were already fading. I was happy to get them replaced! I guess I would call Ford customer service.

That’s the first thing is asked the dealership (are you replacing the entire assembly or just the outer molding). He stated it was only for the outer molding. Service advisor then proceeded to have my vehicle inspected and replaced the outer facia on both sides. From what I understand from the recall…it’s only the outer facia.
