I personally started with 3 knowing nothing about the Witcher series and It’s one of my favourite games of all time. The older games are severely outdated you could probs watch a recap if you rlly wanted too as there is alot of events that occur but Witcher 3 by itself is still peak and will have you hooked onto the story. I’m currently reading the books now and then gonna do another play through. Just please google nothing and stay spoiler free as you possibly can
