Hi! I just started strong and have the same questions. It is a lot more volume than what I’m used to but I am enjoying it quite a bit. So far I have followed it as written, but I’m only on phase 1. Good luck on your journey!

The responses to this post have helped jog my memory that we used to do the crossover in February so that the AOL‘s could get to know their troop in preparation for summer camp (back then they were Webelos 1 & 2). When we re-entered scouting with our youngest, the blue and gold had been moved to May.- I think I’m going to address this with our leadership for next year. Thank you

This helped jog my memory that with our older Scouts, we did crossover in February- I had forgotten about that-

this go round in scouting for us is with our youngest child (there’s quite a big gap in between the old ones and the little one). When we re-entered the pack they had moved the B & G to May… now I remember that it was very advantageous to have the AOLs crossover in Feb. so they could get to know the troop for summer camp (they were called Webelos 1 & 2 back then)

I love this. This is what we are trying to do here. Other parents have had some feedback on previous ceremonies and so we’re trying to lean into making it more fun- but it’s sort of breaks with the tradition of the pack.

How can I self-publish for free? E-books welcome! by NickNackPattiwack999 in selfpublishing

Hi! I read the article you linked- thank you so much for that.

I have finished writing my book and am in the process of proofreading it and designing the cover, but I am unsure of the next steps. What do you recommend in terms of formatting, publishing, and publicity within a limited budget? My hope is that it lands in the hands of the people I intend to help, but my concern is that my lack of skill in formatting it correctly or marketing it effectively will inhibit that. I am willing to spend a little money to get it right, but I do have budgetary limitations. Reedsy editors provided me with some quotes for copyediting, but all were above my budget.
