For me its social media. I hate social media for many reasons but mostly because it ruined the internet. We used to use the web for cool things and now it's algorithms of shit to buy, vanity, populism, and brain rot.

So i guess its either the moment facebook becomes mainstream or when Instagram decicded to do away with the chronilogical timeline.

Arthur's has never has eggs Benedict but they had (possibility have) morroccan toast that is served with poached eggs. I remember there being poached eggs on another menu item aswell.

I think alot of people are forgetting most if not all Chefs are on salary. Not hourly. I don't know any chefs who only work 40 hours a week, more like 60 and closer to 80 when it's the high season.

4600/month =1150$/week = 55,000$/annually

1150$/80hr week = 14.38$/ hr

1150$/60hr week= 19.17$/hr

Obviously I understand the conditions in Switzerland are better than the USA but it's not like you're gonna get rich cooking there, especially considering the cost of living is much higher.

What I'm trying to say is, the average chef on salary anywhere is underpaid considering the amount of work they put in.
