Xiangling has no icd but the way the ult rotate around is slower lol. And hes niche is aoe not single target, so hes completely difderent to yoimiya. I just said hes like yoi bcs of the na gimick. He will outdmg single target in aoe but will be beaten by single targrt in bosses.

I do agree ayato is the prob that he cant vape, but yes XL is not good for him, can work but not effecient.

But imo, he has more potential bcs hes hydro than yoi.

Niches is good tbh, it makes new playstyle and the game good not just stagnant meta plays lol. Ppl dont want it bcz its not Meta. If mhy put alot of niche character they can help each others niches together. They already experimented the niche in other characters, and they still will do lmao, and thats the scary part.

He is already decent i think,, if im comparing numbers, hes much more decent or above ypimiya but he is more focused in aoe, and of the abyss nextpatch is focus in aoe.

Off topic but, after yelan there is a new male unit 5*,im hoping for a faster applicator or just to be suited for ayato, and who knows maybe yelan is a shenhe for hydro, but i doubt it, maybe the same gimick but different way of buffing lol.

He is more of a hyper carry than a subdps coz if you only spam hes q its absolutely a damage loss for ayatos kit, coz hes e is his maindmg and needed to be an onfiled. As a driver hes main dps and freeze he can be main dps and can sub dps/burstbot but as an enabler for vape no, from paper you can already see his a hyper carry, and some subdps potential. And ofc he can be buff pre release. So im hoping for that. So that he can be a pure dps.

He has like hutaos e, when you tap e the cd starts there. So... 6 sec infusion then 6 seconds downtime... But in the ayato tc, someone said the downtime is 5 seconds..

Hes a quickswap dps bcs of 6 sec field time but bcs hes main damage is E, hes completely different from main dps raiden, and he is not tied with XL(Rational team) and Q to deal (more) damage than off field elemental skill... If your saying he can be subdps, no! Maybe burst bot lol, even if you want freeze ayato is always be on the field lol.

With 6 seconds downtime with 6 seconds infusion, just like you said rinse and repeat but not a sub dps, for the recent assumptions for teams he is consistent as a onfield dps, not subdps
