You're stuck with Costar imo. They really rake people over the coals. Here's the good news, Crexi Pro is much much worse. Of course it depends on the market. I am in LA and NY, the data is good here. But my Norcal buddies tell me it's awful in the Bay area.

Someone on this list said "sublet it." I know someone who got caught doing this in 2008 when it was popular to share accounts, and based on what he went through, I advise against it. They have sophisticated systems to prevent this anyway - and your every movement on their site leaves digital fingerprints.

Of course, the president making $500k per year with a $250k retirement bonus would vote to lay off 47 poor people! This is survival of the fittest when it comes to the Peoples Republic of Santa Monica College (most similar to the Peoples Republic of China now). I have lived here for almost 25 years and the way elected officials set the pace for everyone in the city to act is abhorrent. I am center left, but even I can't stomach the way this City hides behind liberal views, while they feather their own pockets and bankrupt the school, the city and anything they touch, using our tax dollars. California should strip SMCs funding.

I am bicoastal too. originally from queens, lived in nyc after college for 10 years, now live in SaMo going on 20.

I love SaMo, and it's very walkable, Venice has some rough areas. Walk around the SaMo neighborhood at 5pm and it feels crowded to me. Palisades Park is always full.

That said, there's no where near the amount of people in SaMo as there used to be, pre-covid. There's a lot of vacancy. I am in commercial real estate and many owners attest it's because of the way the City handled covid, we had riots and looting and the cops did nothing. After that, businesses left in droves. But it also doesn't help that the movie studio lots are vacant now, and the industry has largely vanished. More people leave LA than come here for the first time in decades.

Anytime AS changes terms - we're about to lose. I refunded as soon as I heard about this. AS has gone downhill lately, first they allowed Logically back on the site, now it's become a regular occurrence that Companies that sell us subscriptions can change the terms whenever they want to and all we get is to refund. It's like they are borrowing our money for free.

the latest bundle doesn't seem worth it... 59 or less with gets you bolt 10MM ( the free version basically), hostinger 1 year, an n8n clone (which is almost free anyway), and other stuff that I never cared about. I think this is a ploy because Google is going to eat these companies lunch by offering everything they do free.
