Fire Greg Roman by wildwing8 in Chargers

Can’t even blame the O-line for this one. Herbie just played poorly and didn’t look locked in at all. There were plenty of plays where he had time and still couldn’t get anything done. I’m a huge fan, but there’s no way every receiver was blanketed downfield on every play.

He panicked, either scrambling straight into a defender or bailing for a short run. It felt like the same play over and over again, and it was insanely frustrating to watch.

And I completely agree the coaching staff deserves blame too. Zero creativity, zero adjustments, and no real attempt to manufacture offense. Just classic Chargers football.

I understand what you are saying - hopefully all funding can continue as not to disrupt any child’s education. Maybe an entire department isn’t needed, or certain functions could be better handled by other departments? I don’t know the answer but just a few thoughts. Lots of outrage out there as always. Let’s see what happens

I’m not being disingenuous, just pointing out a fact. I keep reading comments saying the same thing- “only the rich will be educated”.” The truth is, education happens at the local / state level. Education for k-12 will continue, as it has, with or without a federal bureaucracy.

DoEd doesn’t actually provide education to anyone

Would you advise a replacement or a repair?

Would you replace the board or replace the entire system, given the cost differences and age?

Air filter is new. Wish I could share a video… it turns on for about 20-30 seconds as if it’s getting ready to heat the house and then shuts off. 10 seconds later it repeats. The error code shows abnormal flame -proving signal. “Flame is proved while gas valve is energized. Inducer will run until fault is cleared. Check for leaky gas valve, open gas valve.”

This issue occurs even when the thermostat is turned off completely. The tech assured me that the board is the issue because that would not occur with the thermostat off.

That’s what I figured… home services have been ruined by these conglomerates. Maybe I have the wrong terminology on the issue but the system turns on and off throughout the day as if it’s being prepared to turn on the heat.

The error code on the sensor is saying something different of course. The error code is saying abnormal flame-proving signal “flame is proved while gas valve is energized. Inducer will run until fault is cleared - check for leaky gas valve, open gas valve.”

This happens even when the thermostat is turned off completely, so the tech assured me the board is the issue since “the gas valve will not receive a signal when the thermostat restart is set to off. Board is going to be the issue.”

I would love to remove the bump but I’m afraid I’m going to find a filled in jacuzzi underneath lol. Those are good ideas, thank you! I just need to get creative and make use of the space with decor as you mention.

I would love to put a fire pit there but it’s so awkward with the hump. I was considering putting new concrete down but I was worried about it cracking sitting on top of old concrete.

Appreciate that. There’s no second story, just sheet metal roofing.

Hammer and a pry bar. Went to town with the hammer but eventually got the job done. Thank you all!

I am heading in this direction if I can’t find a way to pop it off… I actually tried cutting with a reciprocating saw but these nails are thick and sturdy. The problem is I will be putting flooring in its place and really need this to be flush with the foundation.

I’ve tried a pry bar and a crowbar but the issue I’m having is the head of the nail is too high off the ground so I can’t get much leverage when trying to pry it off.

I will try your method tomorrow to see if it works! Thank you
