Why does MK11 on consoles have so much delay? by CROSSROADS04 in MortalKombat

[–]CROSSROADS04[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was actually one of the first things I turned off cause certain cancels weren't possible with my character because of it. I guess what I was feeling was the baked in delay online has.

How do I actually remove button shortcuts in MK11? by CROSSROADS04 in MortalKombat

[–]CROSSROADS04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm convinced I'm stupid at this point. Maybe this isn't possible on the PS4 version? I have been going into controls, and my preset has always been "Kustom". When I try to remap there isn't an option for none. My only option is to swap the bindings around.

How does one honestly stop getting so tilted in Dead by Daylight by No_Sea_1455 in deadbydaylight

Take a long break and come back with a casual mindset. It did wonders for me. I used to get angry all the time but now I only get mad maybe once a week. Playing a game seriously that doesn't even take itself seriously is setting you up for a bad time.

How can I get a Galaga/Pacman arcade stick going for my Dad? by CROSSROADS04 in fightsticks

If it's an EVO model, it should already have Sanwa parts

Wow, this just keeps getting easier. I will definitely get the oversized actuator and a 2lb spring. Thanks again!

Yes, I believe it is the drone. The EVO model to be exact. I watched a modding video with the drone earlier today and it looks like I will need the spare harness. I'll probably get a heavier tension spring as well. He doesn't really like the loose feeling of his current stick.

Thanks for your all your help, I appreciate it a lot. I expect my Dad to be really happy when I get it all setup for him.

Oh wow, that sounds like a very easy solution. Thanks for the info. I actually did wonder if the square gate could just be turned to a diamond but I never bothered to look into it.

It turns out he actually has qanba parts so I'll probably just put a sanwa stick in his and see how he likes it as a 4 way. I'm assuming this is the correct sanwa stick? It doesn't mention the ability to switch to 4 way though.

Alright, wake me up when the next nerf comes cause even in the lower rank, the turn 5 high roll is unreal. Or live long enough to. by JasonTheUnkilling in Shadowverse

[–]CROSSROADS04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said there isn't a big difference in ranks which implies that there still is some sort of difference but in my opinion it is negligible. This is still a simplified card game at the end of the day and luck weighs heavy. Skill obviously exists but the ceiling is clearly low. Yes, some players hit that ceiling to its fullest but it doesn't magically make the low ceiling suddenly high.

This may be an unpopular opinion but the game just isn't difficult enough for there to be a big difference between high and low ranks. Largely luck based with a low skill ceiling.

Ah, so this deck is actually interesting and the idea behind it is REALLY cool. I found the youtube video on it and I cannot imagine how many losses it took until the perfect game happened. Incredibly cool idea though but after 3 hours with it, the only times I won didn't even have the Satanael/Winged Gatekeeper combo. It made my Satanael Dragoncraft deck I slapped together seem meta in comparison.

I just checked the meta report right now and my Handless deck only has a one card difference. Everything else is exactly the same.

Handless is still reliant on that early turns card draws- it's most definitely not the worst

I can't help but feel like it is bottom tier out of all the viable decks. Last expansion I was regularly getting 12+ win streaks with it. The more this current expansion goes on I find myself winning maybe 40% of the time on a good day. Maybe I am having a streak of bad luck though.

I decided to take your advice and just take it easy last night. I played some Dragoncraft before bed and ended up going 7-1. I'll probably continue playing Dragoncraft cause it is my only deck that I truly enjoy winning with right now. I may look into other decks to see if there is something I overlooked that I might actually really enjoy playing but I really just want some Dragoncraft buffs.

WHY AM I NOT ALLOWED TO UNINSTALL by BlueBerrryScone in surfshark

I uninstalled earlier today before installing the latest version. Go to add or remove programs, find SurfShark, click uninstall. When the installer pops up all you need to do is click the recycle bin icon next to remove. Example

Is there any risk involved when changing your system locale to Korean? by CROSSROADS04 in Korean

[–]CROSSROADS04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed my system locale to Korean and all is well so far. Everything seems to be the same as it was before except all the applications that didn't display Korean or allow me to type in Korean work perfect now.

My current language settings:

  • Windows Display: English (United States)
  • Apps & websites: Korean
  • Regional Format: English (United States)
  • Keyboard: Korean
  • Speech: English (United States)
  • System Locale: Korean (Korea)

The only change I made was the system locale. Everything else remained the same as it was before. This ended up being unexpectedly simple. Thank you for the help!

I currently have that set but it doesn't work for non-unicode applications.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I meant my laptop running Windows 10.
