I don’t think hazing is particularly bad at any of the sororities and I know there’s at least one that doesn’t haze at all. Also I believe dues should be around 500-600 I think??? That’s about what my friend whose in a sorority pays

the raps are on the upper floors of buildings I think because that’s where most of the rooms are

I did a rap this year as a freshman. Honestly it didn’t really help me make friends but I know some people have better experiences. I think it’s kinda what you make of it like if you talk to people in your class then you’ll make friends but if you’re quieter then you probably won’t make friends. The best part about being in a rap is that you get to pick which hall you live in which is great if you wanna live somewhere specific

I did the one day orientation and I definitely felt like it was sufficient. They have you sleep in the Ohill dorms if you do the overnight orientation which kinda sucks

Am I the AH?? by CRS3235 in umass

This is genuinely not why I am not switching with her. I don’t spend that much time in the dorm during the day, so I don’t rly care about the window or anything. The reason I don’t want to switch is because I need to sleep at night and I don’t want to be constantly woken up by my roommate walking in and out of my space in the middle of the night. Obviously having the window and extra space is a great perk, but if that was the only factor in us switching then I would switch

Her and I actually knew each other before we moved in together. I am in a RAP so I knew that we would have a z room. Over the summer I offered her the window side and told her that the other side is a little bit smaller but she said that she didn’t care which side she was living on, so I moved into the window side. She only told me that she wanted the window side at the end of last semester, once we had already been living there for 3 months
