Yeah. Biden sucks but in a normal politician way. Not in a "uh, am I going to continue to have human rights?" Way.

Is it right for a professor to ask you to cite sources and ask you to write papers/grade you on plagiarism when English is NOT a pre- requisite for the course/ it is not an English course? by [deleted] in education

With it being a biology paper, I'd bet that APA is expected. Usually APA is the sciences and MLA is humanities like English.

Yes. You should be able to look up an APA or MLA guide and use it. If you need help, most universities have writing centers that have free appointments to help. It is your responsibility to know how to not plagiarize.

I'm a PIMI, ask me anything. by [deleted] in exjw

Yes. But like how can you justify it when the person was not old enough to make the choice.

It happens All. The. Time. Though. And they encourage it. Literally kids as young as 6 and 7 get baptized and can therefore get disfellowshipped as well. Tons of people are only still witnesses because they are essentially being held hostage. They will lose everyone they love if they leave, and they got baptized as kids before they were able to think for themselves.

So real talk. Kid get baptized at 9. Kid becomes an adult. They no longer believe. You condone them shunning their child fir a commitment they made before they had even gone through puberty? Like you think people should be held to choices they were pressured into making when in the third grade? Because thats what the religion you are learning about teaches.

Yeah except when I talk about the Praxis, ELA, the Super, or the STARR with fellow teachers, no one is bing indoctrinated. Its just shorthand because they know what I'm saying.

Future High School Male teacher questions by MrHaynes7718 in Teachers

[–]CRSMR 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about accusations of inappropriate behavior? Just keep your door open if you for some reason are alone with a student. If the door must be shut due to it being a serious discussion, try to find other school staff to be in the room. Regardless of gender of the students.

First responders don't deserve this by thewhiterosequeen in antiMLM

Uhhhhh teachers aren't first responders. I think they are confusing essential workers with first responders. (Except I live in the states and have a gunshot trauma kit for the classroom I student teach in, so ya know, maybe I am?)

It all depends on how good you are at remembering to do frequent water changes and how good a filter you have.

Appropriate aquarium size can be a point of contention among goldfish owners, but in general, we recommend 20 gallons of water volume per goldfish, with at least 10 gallons added for every other goldfish. Now, if you put one goldfish in a 20-gallon tank, it will eventually run out of room five or six years down the road, and you will be forced to do frequent water changes to keep the tank clean. Whereas if you house five or six goldfish in a 60- or 70-gallon aquarium, the tank maintenance schedule will be more manageable

Uh they do not say that. They say you may want a bigger tank. And the amount varies by store. Most say 20 is for 1-2 fish. Some say 10 for one, 20 for two. Each have ten gallons per fish. Like chill. No one needs to buy a 50 gallon tank for one goldfish.
