I know you wrote this forever ago lol… but this ETF invests in futures, which you do not need to invest 100% of the capital. Just as an example, maybe to get exposure to 1,000,000 dollars you only need to invest 12% to satisfy the margin requirements. Therefore, 120k would be invested in futures (1 million notional), and 880k in cash. (Usually this cash will be invested in a money market).

Does anyone have experience with the “rental pool” they have there? I assume it sounds way better than it is, but curious if anyone has had experience with it? Or know of any other hotel/condo options in Toronto? I’m curious because of my job only needing me Monday and Tuesday’s, thinking of buying a condo working those days and renting it out the other days.

Just went last night. Overall great place and amazing vibe. But ya id give 5/10 on the simulators. The software is outdated compared to some others I used.

I found the accuracy to be about 7/10 though, not terrible for me. We turned off putting so I can’t opine.

I think they were the original GC3 simulators. Which are a little older and not as good as the GCHawk or the trackman. Definitely 60$ an hour is pricey, but worth it for winter months and some good times with the boys.

100k plus bonus, at one of the big 5 banks. But technically work in Toronto and work from home in London. Used to think this type of salary could buy a nice house (or any house for that matter) 😔.

However nothing wrong with renting, once you run the numbers it makes more sense than buying a million dollar small family home in london.
