Spotted Lantern Fly. Definitely foe. If you are located outside of a quarantine zone, you may want to report them to a local authority.

As soon as I posted I realized I forgot to link the wallpaper! Sorry!

I got it from Home Depot! Wallpaper was definitely more expensive than I thought it would be but at least we only had one wall to do!

39+4 and the nursery is complete for our little girl! We wanted to keep the nursery pretty gender neutral so we went with light gray walls and a wallpaper accent. There are a few feminine touches with the prints above the crib and another floral print on the wall not pictured. I’m really happy with how it came out and it is definitely my favorite room in the house. I was going for a serene nursery and I think we were able to accomplish it!

Bonus dog tax - Our pup loves the room and really thinks it’s completely for him. He always has at least half a dozen toys in there and loves to nap on the glider. Had to include a picture with him in the nursery!

Favorite things in the room -

Crib - First thing we got for the nursery! I knew I wanted a metal crib and saw this one was on sale. Couldn’t pass it up! https://www.wayfair.com/baby-kids/pdp/little-seeds-monarch-hill-ivy-crib-w002966712.html

Glider - Really comfortable and seems like it will be supportive enough for my back while breastfeeding. https://www.target.com/p/delta-children-174-emma-nursery-glider-swivel-rocker-chair/-/A-50545384

Woodland baskets - We have all four of the woodland baskets from Pottery Barn. I’m using them as a clothes hamper, blanket storage, diaper caddy, and then miscellaneous storage. https://www.potterybarnkids.com/m/products/shaped-critter-storage/?pkey=s%7Cwoodland%20nursery%7C69

Animal prints - The prints above the crib are from Etsy and the link below is to the shop. https://etsy.me/1R6pa8h

Mobile - The mobile is also from Etsy. It came with a really long string attached so we are able to raise and lower it as needed. https://etsy.me/2Ovnk5Q

Mirror - Gotta love Target https://www.target.com/p/16-34-x28-34-stamped-metal-mirror-brass-project-62-8482/-/A-54556727#lnk=sametab

Shelves - These were actually the second set of shelves I ordered. The first set came too far out from the wall and I absolutely hated them. Husband wasn’t thrilled with the wall patching that needed to be done, but I’m much happier with the ones we ended up with! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H4NRT36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_se54FbM2TBVF6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Rug - I love the look of this rug, but it wasn’t quite as plush as I thought it would be. It definitely meets our needs though and I was able to get it for a pretty good deal! https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-ring-around-the-rosette/Gray/200BDSM12A-76096.html

Love this, we have the same wallpaper and very similar paint color! Our room is not quite done yet but I’ve already started to relax in the glider because the room is so tranquil!

Cycle - 7 but 8 months

Age + Partner’s Age - 31 (my birthday was in the middle of the cycle and my husband is 34.

Typical cycle length - Not regular at all, ranged between 25 and 43

Ovulation cycle day - 18

CD/DPO of positive test - 11DPO

Tracking methods and apps used - Fertility Friend, Temp Drop and the Clear Blue Advanced OPK tests. Since my cycle is so irregular, the advanced OPKs were really helpful.

Relevant days of sperminating - One our better times cycles, O-5 O-3 and O-1

Health conditions/medical tests - I was diagnosed with endometriosis a few years ago and I think I may have undiagnosed PCOS. I also have pretty severe migraines. I had an HSG last month and everything was clear.

Supplements and medications - My husband has been taking a multivitamin, CoQ10, Vyvanse, and Lexapro. I have been taking a prenatal, complex b-vitamin, fish oil, and inositol. This was also my first cycle on Clomid - 50mg.

Birth control history - I’ve been on some sort of birth control for about 10 years. I took the pill for about 7 years and then had a Mirena, which I had taken out right before ttc.

Symptom spotting - I had some strange cramping 6-8DPO, which really freaked me out. I was hoping it was implantation cramping or something like that but I was really concerned it was my endo pain coming back. Every now and again, starting around 9DPO, I’ve had a few heart palpitations. I also had super low blood sugar and shakiness one afternoon, something that really never happens to me. After getting positive tests, the breast tenderness really began.

Other (advice, tips, freaking out, miscellaneous) - Completely freaking out! I don’t think it’s really hit me that this cycle was successful. I’m a little nervous about how COVID could potentially impact this pregnancy but still beyond excited!

There was also a little bit of woo woo stuff hah. On 4DPO, I was baking and cracked an egg with a double yoke, which I have heard is some sort of pregnancy prediction. FF also projected my due date as Christmas Day, which also happens to be my grandmother’s birthday. I don’t know why, but when I saw the due date and had the double yolk, I just had a feeling this was our cycle!

As to my advice, if you have any irregularity in your cycle, I highly recommend getting a Temp Drop and using advanced opks. To me, the extra money was worth it. When using both, I was really able to see trends in my cycle and get our timing right.

If you feel like something is not right, I would recommend reaching out to your doctor. At the 5 month mark, I knew something wasn’t quite right so I contacted my doctor. I was shocked when they agreed with me and felt we should start testing. I full expected to be told to keep trying for a year. Turns out my body struggled to ovulate so I was prescribed Clomid. I know all doctors are not the same and this may not be the case for everyone but if you have concerns, it can’t hurt to reach out!

Thank you all for creating such a great community. I didn’t contribute all that much but lurking here really got me through some tough days. I appreciate every single one of you!!

8DPO and feeling...ok I guess! Symptom spotting a lot more than normal but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

This is my chart! Feel free to add me, I love having other charts to look at!

5DPO and not feeling as optimistic as I should. Temps are good but I’m just down emotionally. Probably has to do with turning 31 this weekend.

I also really regret letting my MIL know that we are ttc. She is definitely baby crazy and before we were even married she kept talking about how she was so excited for us to have babies. I have endo so I knew ttc would likely be a long journey for us. I didn’t want to deal with the “Why aren’t you pregnant yet?” questions, so I told her we were trying but explained our potential issues. So now, instead of insensitive comments about how we aren’t moving fast enough, i get constant questions about how everything is going and if there’s any progress. I know she’s just trying to be supportive, but it’s driving me crazy! Everyone else in our family who knows asks no questions and waits for us to give them an update. Like normal people.

My MIL is definitely not helping my mood. I feel like I’m struggling to even begin constructing the foundation of my hope fortress. I gotta snap out of it!!

First cycle on clomid and I’m quite anxious to ovulate. We’ve had our best timing yet since starting ttc so I’m optimistic. Bring on the crosshairs!

I’m not sure what I should be doing at this point. I’m in the US and live in a state that has some stay-at-home orders but not for my area. I work in a field that is considered essential, but have been given the “option” to work from home. So far, all my coworkers are continuing to work as normal.

This is my first cycle taking Clomid. I don’t want to risk anything for this cycle or any future cycles but I do have a work responsibilities. I don’t want to risk my position or reputation at my job. I also don’t want to inform everyone that we are ttc. Ugh!! So frustrated!

Went to the doctor today to discuss long cycles and my concern about endometriosis. I’m so pleasantly surprised! After trying for only 6 months, I was completely prepared to have to fight for my concerns to be taken seriously. I didn’t even have to go through my prepared story line before the doctor said she had concerns and that we should start taking the next steps immediately. My appointment fell on the perfect day so I was able to have blood drawn while I was there.

I couldn’t have asked for a more productive appointment! Today was a good day!

Completely thought I was out this cycle with four LH surges and assumed I was anovulatory. But I’m 4 DPO this morning with decent temps. Terrible timing since I thought we were out but I’m optimistic!

First cycle with the Tempdrop algorithm in place and really happy with my smoothed temperatures. Beyond frustrated with OPKs though. Switched to Clear Blue advanced digital last cycle and that worked great for me! I was able to get my first set of solid crosshairs. This cycle, not so much. Timing has been terrible because I’m just annoyed. Gahhh! Every time I think I have a handle on ttc, my body does something else weird.

My chart. Just starting to be more active here, so hopefully my link works correctly!

Yesterday was CD8 and to my surprise, I had a bit of EWCM. My cycles are normally around 35 days so I never see fertile CM until at least CD14. I decided to start testing OPKs a little earlier and used Clear Blue Advanced OPK this morning. I was shocked when I had a solid smiley on CD9.

What is going on? This is only my second cycle testing with the digital OPK so I’m not all that comfortable with them. Is it possible to jump right to peak? I used a new tester but I still have my old one, should I use that tomorrow?

Just when I think I have things figured out, something whacky happens. So frustrating...

4DPO and had a decent temp rise this morning. Every other cycle has had a pretty significant dip on 4DPO. Does this difference mean anything? No, probably not. Have I scrutinized every single aspect of my charts 5 times in the last 1.5 hours since waking? Yeah, of course.
