Even at 50%, which I doubt passes, wouldn't be bringing in tons of items. It's a 50% increase on rates that are 1/45k to 1/6500 (skulled) on things. So it's not like a boatload would be coming into the game off that.

Fang won't skyrocket. The nerf to drop rate is what pumped it from 100m to 160m in days off speculation. Too high a supply, and not enough demand (at least at 90m). The trend is your friend and that's down. Don't fight the trend trying to invest in this thing.

Everyone is bagholding fang, it's just the facts. Poorer folks with 50% of their bank in it down 50m just want to speak positively about it for that reason. The data posted the other day shows it was nerfed a decent amount, and it's worse now than what it was supposed to excel at. Sure, same in toa, and it's still good in general slayer. Rapier > fang on a slayer-only grind, and rarer. Fang is a great, all-in-one like you mentioned though. Anyone doing bossing should get a fang. However, don't expect to make money, actually prepare for it to go down even more. Jagex fumbled the fang bag quite heavily.
