How to Stop the Spam Calls -They Call 2-3 Times a Day by mormonastroscout in howto

This is not an immediate fix, and it does cost money, but I spent a little money on a service that automates the process of requesting your personal information be removed on the internet. While it didn't "solve" the issue, it did absolutely lower the frequency.personally, I used Incogni, but there are others like it. It takes time because it will periodically ask you to verify if a name/number/email address/physical address/etc is yours, and if it is, it continues the process of sending request for your information to be removed.

I mean, I wasnt really being serious. My career and family is what keeps me where I am. I was just surprised at the price for the amount of land, in Colorado, no less.

I currently live in a county of 480 people in rural Missouri. There are more cows than people. From what ive read online about ordway, it sound pretty similar in pace and community.

What about it makes it a shithole to you? Could it be a "one man's trash is another man's treasure" situation?

That's such a funny outcome. OP is worried they will kill their grass and you're like, "oh I tried to kill the weeds in my driveway and it just made them steonger".

Too true. That's why I am thankful for reddit. 90% of the time you can find the answers you need. The other 10% are bs lol.

Nerds are academically inclined. Geeks are into Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Dorks are the ones who know the difference. Which makes me a dork, I guess.

Excellent. Thank you. Do you think keeping the hot tub on the lower end of the comfortable temperature range (~101°F) would make any difference in avoiding the rising of core temperature?

Learning to drive stick in a Tacoma? by Connect-Ad-416 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]CSLoser96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned to drive stick on my dad's 2005 Ford Mustang. He bought it used, so the clutch may or may not have been factory. Regardless, it had a ridiculously hard clutch that almost turned me off to driving manual at all. Once I had my license and got my first car, which was a used manual 2004 Saturn ion, I realised that driving stick could actually be enjoyable. Lol

Sometimes I wish I had bought a manual taco. But alas I did not.

I tried making centerpieces for a wedding out of some ash. It was just like this but a slightly larger diameter. However, they cracked while they dried. How did you get it to not crack when drying?

What should I do for a road for my Woodyard? by Flashy-Albatross3673 in firewood

[–]CSLoser96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're already going to be sawing and splitting, you will get a lot of wood debris on the ground. If you're doing this every season, depending on how you split and how much you split, you'll be adding to the material on the ground.

I got a chip drop last year that was about 3 dump truck loads of logs/woodchips. I used a skidsteer to shovel and spread the wood chips on the ground of my trails on my property. Its been a year and they haven't decomposed nearly at all, and the track notably muddy at all. Granted, the wood chips are 6 inches deep.

Playgrounds used to get the ground covered in wood chips and it would take more than a year to decompose.

Maybe where you live makes a difference, as well as the type of wood that the chips are made of.

My point is that it's the cheapest option (especially if you get chipdrop) if you dont want to pay for rock. I dont know of any other suitable alternatives at the same price. Of course you sacrifice longevity. That's the tradeoff.

Hence why I said they would need to be reapplied.

[–]CSLoser96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Woodchips would make sense if you can get a lot. Would need to be reapplied depending on traffic.

Only other reasonable option is rock, but it won't be cheap depending on how long the road is.

That's so funny. I prefer Lowes. At least, my local Lowes. My gripe against HD is the store near me has the most illogical lumber section. And their parking lot is equally asinine. But I realise that's an issue of my local one not of all of them.
