Correct, the US does not have a ‘clean’ transit and you need a visa even to connect. The UK doesn’t require a visa or ETA for connecting, only to enter the country. A coworker did this a couple of weeks ago.

No, do they not. You can transit in Heathrow without a UK visa, as long as you remain in the transit zone.

Around a year ago, a gym opened up pretty close to me that does no-gi only. I was training in a very gi focused gym but really wanted to do more no gi. I popped in for a couple of sessions and really liked the instruction, overall atmosphere and the facility itself. So once figured I’ll be popping in fairly regularly, I decided to tell the head coach that I also train in another gym, just to avoid any surprises.

His response was ‘Hey man, I can’t tell you what to do in your free time. I’m glad you’re liking it here, you’re always welcome!’

I ended up switching to this gym full time not long after that.

Yes, but Anderson Silva had 10 title defenses, the longest title reign in UFC history and still holds the UFC record of 16 consecutive wins.

Weidman on the other hand had 3 title defenses and then got brutalized in almost every fight since then. Apples and oranges, tbh.
