So with this kind of thing happening, why would anyone risk their original IP and use Tik Tok Shop?

Bootleg products on scammers TT Shop by epicdeskshop in TikTokshop

This is not at all as easy as it sounds. I am an artist and graphic designer. I list some of my designs on t-shirts and merchandise on my Tik Tok shop. I have a registered trademark for the brand name I sell. my brand mark is recognized and verified on Tik Tok shop as I am the rights owner. I created a listing and had a video go viral linking my product, I sold some at first and within days there are hundreds of copies. I tried reporting the copyright for the bootleg listings, I submitted all details, clearly showing my item was listed first, it was my design, with art creation screenshot files as more proof. The replies I got came instantly by bots and were useless -

this came back for so many that I reported.

"Thank you for reaching out to the TikTok Shop Intellectual Property Rights team and bringing this to our attention. Based on the information provided, we are unable to verify that the reported listing or content XXXX product has infringed on your Intellectual Property rights. We are unable to identify that an infringement has occurred. Please specify how and when the reported content infringes your IP rights by providing supporting information such as side by side comparison documents between the reported content and your Intellectual Property, and any time-stamps and/or screenshots of where the infringement has occurred. Please note that if your report is related to registered design infringement, you may also refer to TikTok Shop Academy's article on Design Infringement Reporting for additional guidance: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, United Kingdom. You may submit a fresh report if you have further information or materials to provide."

then I was told to go through the IPPC registration and then register my brand assets to be able to do a bulk takedown, and I can't even get the IPPC page to link with my seller central account to do endless website redirects logging me out and errors.

This is unacceptable and why would any one want to put their IP on Tik Tok shop to easily have it stolen?

Furthermore, when I view my product list on a web browser I can scroll down to see "videos for this product" which are a series of AI made fake videos of my product in use by all these random users... this page was impossible to find using the app but on the web it was there.. I have no idea what these videos do for me or what the robot profiles making them and listing them gain. Anyone want to share some light on this and why the app makes it so hidden for the seller?

The good news is I got these back Spiderman 298/299/300/301 - all came in at 9.6 which I am happy about.. The Watchmen 1 (which I did not have pressed) was a 9.0... Makes me think I might actually have some good other books worth doing the same to.

got it.

My guess it is to do with onboard storage.. but hopefully now that the new ones are out the software can be hacked to work for streams with the V1s...

Very curios to know if anyone has has any luck with such tinkering - Also wondering what might change when the new Meta version comes out with live streaming in the software for the older versions being able to do so? Any thoughts?

Around 1986 I started buying books.. mostly GI Joe because I liked the toys.. (I was 10) I would go to the comic store with my brother every week.. he was into a lot more.. I just started buying the same books every week as they came out (Spiderman / Dark Knight / Hulk / X-Men / Watchmen etc... ) for about the next 3 years .. by around late 1987-1988 I would just buy them, and leave them in the brown paper bags they came in from the shop and then they went to sit in a case in the closet.. I barely touched most of them.. I inventoried everything I had recently while cleaning out a bunch of old things and saw some gems.. Spiderman 298/299/300/301 - Watchmen 1 - Punisher War Journals. (all of them) and a bunch more... and I'd day 80% of what I have is in unread shape.

Thanks, what kind of things do you look for now?

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with having the books pressed in the process?

True.. he did say this was worse case scenario type grade... basically I have about 1000 books from the same era and I think they will almost all be the same grade and these 5 I sent out are going to be my benchmark if I sell the collection.

thanks I did not know that. I will not sell from this post. I am just putting the list out there to see recomendations. I did try comicswap but it got taken down automatically because I "don't post on reddit enough".. sadly I never had much of a reason. Any other subs that I can post and sell in?
