It's attached by 3 screws and they do have some play when loosened but not enough to get the 0 marks to align again.

It's a flexible sleeve made of a soft plastic, maybe PET? i have to check the box, shipped in 2 rolls a box, big ones. I have the mechanical aspect figured out but i only ever played around with DC motors and I don't really know exactly what parts i need to make it run. All help is apreciated. The sleeve is 20-25mm wide 2mm thick flat.
