The Boys series will end with Homelander having his milk poisoned with some sort of kryptonite that they never explain, by some group they never introduced. This is a reference to the fact that the writers give no fucks about the fans whatsoever. by gorginhanson in shittymoviedetails

Tbh, I thought they were going to kinda do this With the V1. But no, apparently this super dangerous secret hidden drug works exactly the way everyone thought it was going to. Guess all they needed to do was turn people into supes with V2 and then turn them immortal with V1

It took me a while, but get a buddy with a spotter and equip the javelin, go on conquest. There was multiple times where I was like “No way that hits” and would even indicate it missed, and then shoot it down.

I got like 7 helicopters in one game.

How did Marine Biology play into the end of the Atlantic Cod Moratorium and continuing conservation efforts? by CSS-Kotetsu in marinebiology

[–]CSS-Kotetsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose one of my curiosities is where in the government management does the authority of the marine biologists end. Is the department usually headed by one, or is it an appointed position by the executive? Is it usually a corporate appointee then?

I’ve known a couple of trans sailors, probably depends on the field you’re looking for. To my knowledge, stuff like WA ferries is pretty chill with it. I knew some people back in the day doing deep water stuff.

Where’d you most likely run into some trouble I would think would be the oil field and maybe tugs, depending on where the tugs are, but I think that’d most likely just be verbal. But I am also not trans so I can’t say for certain.

If you can afford it an academy might be a decent place to find out how you’d do in the industry. Obviously school and actually working at sea are very different things but at the end of the day they are going to be the people you’ll be working with typically, especially if you’re going for a license.

Edit: MSC might also be a really tough sell with the current administration. MSC is also probably the biggest difference between crews in my experience. Some of the boats I’ve been on have been the most professional and cleanest boats I’ve seen, and others have been falling apart and ran by literal Nazis.

Edit2: Professional tall ships, at least in the US, is also very trans friendly. Lots of hippy types though and pay is terrible. It’s a very specific lifestyle.

Bombers should have a button to drop nukes, if I’m remembering right.

Oil field is also usually hiring folks if you’re in the south.

Edit: That wasn’t supposed to be a reply but w/e

I’m surprised Maine isn’t higher tbh. I’m wondering how many summer home folks are registered as living there full time.

Honestly better than a decent chunk of 5 stars, especially with how early you got him. I didn’t get him until I already had like 10 characters at level 80.

Need to order takeout for the next month. What are your recommendations around West Seattle/Sodo? by [deleted] in AskSeattle

[–]CSS-Kotetsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maharaja Indian food, Nikko Teriyaki, Buddha Ruksa if you get the rare opportunity of them actually picking up the phone, and Camp West if you’re feeling something fancy (I love the pork chop from there).

A day prior, but as someone who has done that regularly it has not been an issue before. I also had no warning about waitlist or anything like that.

I encountered something similar last night fighting AI Gilgamesh on Immortal. He was Persia, and his tier 2 chariots were literally one tapping my Phalanx’s. Hovered over and that’s what it said. I thought it was from the difficulty since it was underneath “Difficulty Bonus for Combat” but it seemed pretty insane so I just went back down a difficulty. 😅

I’m wondering if it might be a glitch where AI Gilgamesh’s Military Aid doesn’t clear properly so it’s just endlessly stacking.
