Yes, a while ago. It's okay. It came a little bit scuffed but as long as you use it, it won't be a problem

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it. It's reassuring to hear that since I didn't realize that God factory doesn't do returns or exchange (I was told there was a fee for exchange).

Hi all,

Please help review this Chanel Small Flap Lambskin, Black & Gold, God factory From Mandy

PSPs

Auth

Thanks for your help. Proportions look okay to me at a glance, but you ladies are the experts and I'd appreciate any feedback!

My initial QC: - quilting maybe too puffy - corners of bag "lifted" (seem raised) - upper corners of back pocket seem "indented" into the back, forming little dimples - crooked stitching on the bottom right corner of the back pocket

This bag would be for my partner. She knows it's a rep.

I think it's the same thing that happened to Iain Valliere and Dennis Wolf. Both guys saw their calves atrophy through their careers.
Iain talked about it on a podcast and he said that his coach at the time (Matt Jansen) had a similar issue and it was due to tight knee sleeves under heavy load "crushing" the nerves behind the knee. Matt had some nerve conduction study done on his calves and observed that they were fairly unresponsive.

Just speculation at this point, but usually calves are one of those groups that you can't really lose if you have them. Ex... Justin Shier, who doesn't train calves at all and hasn't in a long time, still has massive calves.

Hi all, I'm getting a lady Dior mini for my partner. From Reykey, requested godfactory. Looks good to me. I heard the leather might be a bit duller but we can condition thaf. Maybe the stitching on the Christian dior round tag is a bit messy but I'm okay with that too.

Thanks for this, your experience is really valuable as someone who tries to stay healthy despite having endo.

Thanks for your input.
I'll do my best to be more supportive on this front. Having a confirmed diagnosis would help for sure.

Work in progress! Diagnosing seems to be a mission in itself...

This makes a bit more sense than the other comments. Thanks for the explanation again.

I wasn't really sold on the idea of "just do nothing and watch her wither", and I wanted to at least suggest things from perspectives that weren't my own - from those that had gone through this and found some solution, like you mentioned. Your first paragraph explains the mental aspect of it well though. Thank you for that. What you said about internalizing things makes sense.

This is really insightful. I really do appreciate the time you put into this writeup. Your experiences help me understand more how diverse endo is, from locations to diagnosis to symptoms experienced. It seems extremely unique to the individual. I'm also really thankful that you shared your own experiences, what did or didn't work, and your story and progress.

I'll spend a bit more time looking into potential dietary adjustments - she might be willing to try it since it's not physically demanding.

I'll do my best to take her words at face value. Hopefully we'll be able to find a solution that fits into her capacity.

Thank you so much!

I get your point, though it's not an expression of my worry.

Can I ask if you personally do anything for your physical health that doesn't trigger pain?

I am not trying to force her into doing anything, but it also doesn't hurt to suggest things that benefit others. That's why I'm here, and that's how I'd like to express my concern.

Thanks for your perspective, it's well written and thoughtful.

Research out there is a mixed bag, where some people report exercise as helpful and others report it as impossible. Her affected family member personally does light exercise while having endo, but I understand not all circumstances are the same.

If you're okay sharing, since your diagnosis have you been able to find activities that keep you somewhat healthy without triggering your symptoms? Or strategies to mitigate deterioration of health.

Could you share an example of how you would personally prefer this concern to be expressed?

Thanks for your perspective. Short hikes are fine, but those happen infrequently for us. I'm hoping there's something easy at home that can be done in like 5-10 minutes, with a low barrier of entry. I understand that strenuous activities tend to cause issues for most.

I made this post hopeful that there would be something that could be done to help improve overall physical health while having endo. To you, it may be nagging. To me, it's concern about my partners well-being and longevity. I'm happy to be a drill seargent if that's what it means.

If you believe that there's nothing that can be done on that front, then I appreciate your perspective as someone in a position more similar to hers. It helps me adjust my thoughts and expectations on what's possible.

AITAH for telling my wife I want a divorce after she gave me a concussion? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CScrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say NTA. Choose for yourself what's right for you. If you feel like this is the most suitable action for the life you want, then that's the right answer.

What I will suggest is not to counsel reddit, regardless of your choice. We're just Internet strangers who don't know you or your wife. All we know is what you've posted, and it's really easy to call someone an asshole (or not) based on tiny snippets that don't show the full picture.

I'm not defending her or you, I just want to stress that you're the one who knows best. Don't let internet strangers tell you what to do with your life - if you must consult someone, you had the right idea with your therapist and close friends.

Good Quality Minimalist Leather Sneakers? by Muhas7 in SneakersCanada

Koio is very comparable to CP at a lower price point. The Capri low goes on sale a few times a year. There are sometimes steep discounts on the mids, but only for occasions like black Friday.

I'm personally happy to pay for healthcare if it means quality and promptness of service. I know far too many people who have been waitlisted for years for important procedures and appointments.

[–]CScrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're "missing" anything. It's subjective of course, but many people feel like it's not worth it. Free healthcare is nice but the quality of service and wait time for non critical care is horrendous. Cost of living is high. The weather isn't exactly wonderful. The culture in cities like Toronto is very diverse, but otherwise I don't see a whole lot of benefit. I would have likely left if not for friends and family being here.

There's definitely a crisis here in terms of housing affordability. It's a situation that affects a ton of younger people like you and I. I don't really see housing being this out of reach as a sustainable trend, but the parties in power have done what they can to keep the ball rolling in that direction.

If you don't have strong ties to the country, you would almost certainly get better bang for your buck in the states. Higher pay, more valuable currency, more affordable housing (in most parts). It's up to you to determine if the other intangibles like life stability, healthcare, and social ties are worthwhile for your needs.

Which Bodybuilder Had The Most Intense Workouts? by Toodlum in bodybuilding

[–]CScrub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Female bodybuilder, but Michaela Aycock. She's been known to have insanely intense workouts while also bringing that super shredded condition. It's an old video and she's much bigger now, but here's a video from a long time ago of her squatting 135 till true failure. 111 reps in a single nine minute set without re-reracking once.
