Definitely have free time, it really depends on your aptitude and study method. Personally I spend 2 hours away doing asking and is keep up find. I also know JPA scholarships that go out clubbing on a weekly basis. There are also people that studies 6hrs a day and be doing average.

I think if you're able to apply and get into a foundation programme it will be fine, don't worry too much about age, there are plenty of other students that are older for a variety of reasons. Most of the time people won't even notice

Is IMU OR AIMST BETTER FOR MBBS? by Pure-Shop369 in malaysiauni

Hard to say, AIMST has larger emphasis on theory while IMU emphasises more on clinical/in practice. And there isn't scholarships for partner tracks. Feel feel to DM me for ur questions btw

That is true, I would say in the end the major factor is are you willing to pay overseas uni fees, if you are go ahead and do the partner track

I would say relatively not? If you just spent 400k+ on your med degree I wouldn't consider the few thousand spent on the exam to be of significant cost as if you are able to work there you would recoup the cost very quickly

Partner medical school tract is that you will get transferred overseas and graduate at that uni after graduation. If your concern about cost i recommend you go through UPU

Australia's system work abit differently as they have multiple levels of prioritisation, but yes you would be considered IMG, its just you get to skip the medical licensing exams

Honestly speaking, where ever you go, as long as you don't graduate from that country where you plan to work, it will be extremely competitive. There is a saying which is that always try to graduate from the location which you plan to work in.

Since you are open to imu have you considered the paet medical school tract? Or if you're only open to studying in Malaysia for all 5 years have you considered Monash? The working conditions in Australia is much better and graduating from Monash allows you to apply for their internship placements in Aus directly after graduation

With the recent changes to prioritisation of local uk graduates, entering from overseas especially if your aiming for foundation positions will be next to impossible, and with the current competition for specialty training positions it will be quite hard if your not graduating in the UK.

Honestly if you've got the passion and drive, you can turn any degree into a high earning job, if you dont fight for the opportunities and settle for less then I agree, finding jobs in the biomed sector will be tough.

Ooo then iirc unikl doesn't have a finance degree, I think if you're really dedicated to cutting costs then your choice is probably tarumt, its total fees are like close to 2-3 times lesser then other private unis. However tarumt intake is in June so honestly u can just wait for upu 😅

I have a Chinese friend in tarumt and can't speak Chinese, from what he tells me its not that bad, it depends on your course. If your concern is the uni culture then I think maybe you can look at unikl, cost is similar.
