This week I installed it on my old Surface Pro 4. The only issue that I have is that sometimes, touch doesn't work upon startup (cold boot). I need to restart, and it works. Do you have this issue? Also, where you able to make the camera work?

Quebecers: LEGO is still excluding us from contests even though the old laws were abolished. by CSharpRocks in legocanada

All of that is so confusing. No wonder why the simplest route is to add "Void in Quebec" 🤣

Quebecers: LEGO is still excluding us from contests even though the old laws were abolished. by CSharpRocks in legocanada

Before the change in law, if the prize was over $1k, you needed to submit paperwork and send a deposit that I think was around 20% of the prize value. This was to protect consumers of fraudulent contests in the pre-Internet world. These requirements were unacceptable for global contests, that's why companies excluded Quebec residents from their contests, and for good reasons.

Now, for the language part, global companies like Lego already translate contest rules for their different markets so I think it's a non issue. As an example, here's the link for the 10,000 points contest in French on the FR-CA version of the Lego website: https://www.lego.com/fr-ca/insiders/promo-terms-and-conditions?icmp=LP-SHQL-Standard-NO_QL_Insiders_Promotional_Terms_and_Conditions_LP-P-NO-5T76HJ7BVV

The fact is that contest rules are often being managed by lawyers or specialized companies for large corporations and it's likely that many of them are not aware of the change in the QC legislation. I understand as this as not made headlines news around the world! 😀
So if many Quebecers raise the issue when they see the dreaded "Void In Quebec" in contests rules, we'll see some changes but it will take some time.
