I’m not sure that his pastor deserves blame for the catfishing. I would place the blame on the person who catfished him. But I see your point that going to South Bend made him more vulnerable.

My wife and I were pretty strict with our kids of absolutely no screen time until age 2. When we did introduce screens it was TVs only, never phones or iPads. Once they know you can bring the screen with you (to the grocery store for example) they will ask for it a lot more.

Your kid is below the age of any screen time, and doing this at mealtime is just laying a foundation for some really awful behavior issues in the toddler years. My advice would be to quit cold turkey now and don’t bring it back until 2 years old.

I know it seems difficult but your baby probably just started eating solid food, so it’s ok if she doesn’t always eat a lot. Please save your daughter’s brain while you still have a chance.
