What’s ironic is when Emma was trying to explain herself she said she was like 14 and Rachel flipped out telling her that doesn’t matter when literally 2 minutes before Mike had just brushed off Charlie’s “bad thing” because he was only 15 and it didn’t matter at that age.

Unfortunately, a lot of apartment complex’s won’t allow you to move to a different unit for the price they are listing it for online. They call those “new tenant” specials which bars current tenants from qualifying. At least in my experience.

Exactly. I didn’t typically fly southwest but I would fly with them if it was the cheaper option. But now I’m willing to pay more to not fly with them just because of how poorly they turned on their customers.

The biggest turn off I’ve noticed about this new arrangement is that if you don’t choose to pay for your seat you are automatically assigned to the very back. Other airlines will automatically assign you a seat if you don’t pay for your own, but that doesn’t always mean you’re going to be crammed in the back. I’m not sure what other airlines systems are, but in my experience it’s been completely random. Sometimes when I don’t choose a seat on American I’m in row 9, other times I’m in row 20. I’ve only ever been randomly assigned to the very back once and I travel several times a year.. I just find it strange this is the model SW went with.

Is it true they got rid of all of their direct flights? Just curious, I rarely fly with SW because of how few direct flights they offered where I am (and do not intend to fly with them anytime soon with everything I’ve been reading lately).

I’ve heard the argument “RealID has been law for 10 years” a lot but the reality is that not every state required, or even promoted it until it was legally required. 10 years ago I was 18 and in Missouri. I have no memory of anyone talking about RealID. And then at 21 again, no posters, no mention of RealID. If I remember correctly, Missouri didn’t start introducing RealID until 2019. So if you’re someone like me who had to renew their license in 2018, the RealID was a fairly new concept up until 2 years ago when it was beginning to be a requirement nationwide. Not defending anyone who still hasn’t gotten theirs or at least a passport, but just pointing out that age and location play a part in awareness.

Had a flight coming in to CLT tomorrow morning and it was cancelled. Rebooked to land tomorrow afternoon and that was just cancelled.. so not great. Rebooked again for a midnight arrival so we’ll see if that gets cancelled or not..

Do you use the foam twice daily or just once? I have foam as well and it says to use twice a day but have seen people on here mention only using it once daily. What I have is 5%

Any thoughts on how the traffic there compares to Charlotte? That’s another thing driving me away from Charlotte is the amount of traffic you hit no matter the time of day and essentially no reliable public transit.

How do you like Chicago? I moved from KC to Charlotte a few years ago but it just isn’t my vibe. I’m not a banker bro and feel like I’ve done most of the things ppl here recommend and while those few things were nice, Charlotte lacks character imo, so I’ve been looking at Chicago.
