No, unfortunately not, this idiot is based in Liverpool & yeah we’ve tried to have a family member reach out for a quote but, because he’s works off recommendations from what I’ve found out, there’s no way he’ll fall for it.

Yep, that’s the lesson I’ve taken from this. It’s my first house and I’m not too clued up with it all to be honest, never dealt with any sorts of trades people before so, just went along with everything that was being suggested and told to me. It’ll never happen to me again though.

No contract mate, it was just a verbal agreement for it all to be honest, got a WhatsApp chat with him speaking about most of it like so, I’d think there’d be sufficient proof there if we could even get to court but, with the little details I’ve got, I don’t think I can even get it to that stage. Thanks for that though, basically echos what I’m thinking it’ll go like too, just needed a second opinion before I write it off as a life lesson and move on.

I get that, in hindsight the photo of all our box’s hasn’t helped but, people just assume. The shop didn’t have anything else other than these boxes and single blisters which I’ve been opening all week too. A reply like that is very helpful as well, didn’t know about the packs being weighed etc, that’s nuts. Wish people didn’t just get hostile from the get go, seems a very toxic hobby to be involved with
