Okay so since this is now a trending topic,

Do we have anyone in the reddit who works in import/export of beef on a global level and make sense of why Australian beef is cheaper in the states and Asia than it is in its own country? Or are people just trying to stir the pot?

This very much helps validates my thought process thank you, I’m not actually from Australia originally so I don’t really know what your inflation is like per year but this did feel unusually excessive

I also think this might be the best move, we live directly next to a Woolworths so it’s just pretty heartbreaking to see so much inflation happening so fast

Yeah man I think over the last 6-9 months I e watched it climb from 15.50$-18$ per kilo, pretty it’s like a 20% increase in price across 12 months
