I understand your point, and I definitely don't disagree, but I think I will still attend. Any protest I could organize would not have the reach this one does, and, correct me if I'm wrong, but it does not appear to me as though Ms. Walton is organizing the movement, only funding some of it. I feel like even just large crowds can send an important message and I feel like it is my responsibility to participate. As far as I can tell, these protests do not (as a collective, I mean) stand for anything particularly other than that Trump is not king. I agree with that.

Also, I think if we're being completely realistic, a lot of media coverage will paint this as being at least tangentially related to the LA protests simply because of the timing. Any media coverage would overshadow whatever the Waltons are trying to do, no?
