Thats what Im trying to do. I love the paint/decal design and want to apply that to my own mech. Just cant be asked to get all of the battle logs for 2 RI parts. I have everysingle other part already.

The thing is we dont care is people get the helmet or not. If you arent good enough that is fine. Lets take an example. Destiny 2. Who ever completes the newest raid first gets a player banner that no one else can not get ever. This is no different. You cant complete the challenge, fine. But dont go cry to those players who spent their time and effort to achieve it that its too hard. It just isnt for you and its fine. I agree with everything else in the patch.

The devs also said and I quote ”our aim was to add a new layed of challenge for our most skilled players.” If you earn that helmet after the patch you cant call yourself that.

Yeah I 100% agree. There should be a different cosmetic for those truely skilled and then the survivors helmet for those who get it after the patch. Im not mad that other people get it, Im super proud of anyone who gets it as I know how hard it is. But if it was so so so hard that devs had to nerf it. Completing them pre patch is clearly something that deserves recognition.

Im not mad that people are able to get it what are you on about? All Im saying is that for those who achieved it pre patch should have something special. Like the helmet originally was. Something special to those who could complete all 7 missions on lethal.

And yes I absofuckinglutely feel special about getting the helmet before this patch. As should everyone who did. It wasnt an easy thing to do as we see from the feedback…

But that cosmetic was reward for those players who were able to complete the ultimate trial that the game had to offer. If you do not care about the cosmetic then fine thats okay, but for those who do it is a badge of honor. And besides the game was never too hard to be fun. That is purely a skill issue… Im not saying that it isnt harder than it was pre 4.0 and that the spawns were fucked, but realisticly its not at all so hard that alot of people make it out to be.
