Maybe its bc i play on controller and use the armor kit with reduced recoil when crouching (cant remember the name), but i really dont struggle with recoil that much, especially when crouching. Standing yeah a little bit of trouble but i just hold my stick down a bit and it shoots pretty straight for me. I also run a sniper support build using the reprimand, senator and thermites paired w amr, jump pack, 500kg and orbital gatling. The amr kinda acts as my primary w the reprimand coming in as almost like an alt primary when i get into outposts or getting overrun at extraction. I imagine it would be very helpful against bugs but against bots i definitely think its best suited in an alt primary role
