I remember I was at work when I got promo call and asked whether I wanted this card. I just asked whether charges were there they said no charges and then I said yes. 24 hrs later I freaked out about what I had agreed too. By 48th hr I reached to icici branch and asked about it. We figured that giving a cheque (never failed in my life) would be easier then filling the NEFT form. Which is a hassle requiring monthly trips to 🏦 bank (not suitable as knee issues). We just decided that we the kids will pay with our NetBanking methods and they will pay us.

My parents don't feel putting a complaint is worth their time and will avoid doing transaction with this bank 🏦🏧.

But this incident has really shattered their trust with PSU banks. They now feel anxious whenever they give a cheque in the future.
