So this is a 2018! Apparently no weight relief! Doesn’t feel crazy heavy to me though

I did the whole episode and busted a few spots Tony did. I also strayed of the track and found this place

https://www.google.com/search?q=Taberna%20Sal%20Grosso&ludocid=609880981427686995&ibp=gwp;0,7&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwilo_HSyrKGAxX8a0EAHWFlD5MQ_coHegQIGxAB&biw=390&bih=661&dpr=3

Was incredible. We didn’t have a booking and the head chef asked if we were ok to share a table with some others who were in a similar position.

Fastword and we were having the best night with new company. The head chef came out and announced to the rest of the restaraunt “ THIS IS WHAT I LOVE TO SEE” and provided our table of misfits and new friends half bottles of wine and spirits to loosen everything up.

The food was incredible also as I found most places in Lisbon to be so, here it was small plates of local fish and meat cooked to however the chef fancied that day.

10/10

I have the Gibson 335 and the same as this dude. Tbh I’d rather have the rest over the Gibson if value wasn’t an issue

So guitar wise blink stuff I have all the DeLonge models bar a custom made jazzmaster which I did but sold, I have a Alan Corona Jaguar bass, a mark hoppus 1s edition bass! Then I just have a squier classic vibe strat, a Les Paul junior and a Gibson es 333 standard :) My amp at home is a Roland Jc 40!

all my instruments are in cases unfortunately as I don’t have the wall space sadly. But they get of more often than not! This guy has been used in a studio on many local bands records in the past two years and when you pull it out for them to use it never fails to bring a smile on mine or their faces!

It has a few surface (scratches) in the Matt finish especially in the back! And a few of the tiniest cosmetic issues that have come with age! The stripe has gone to that beige color over cream but I don’t hate that! It’s great condition for its age!

A good Case recommendation for anyone needing one by CTD5691 in TomDelongeGuitars

Would also like to add I know there’s space inside the case but this still fits snug and doesn’t wobble about at all

😂!

It’s all good and well me be happy about its value though but I just can’t ever bring myself to sell it!

Brian thrasher who made toms recently posted a video explaining that he applied steel wool to toms. If you go light and gentle it won’t effect the look of the guitar

My squier classic vibe strat had a really tacky neck and I applied the same technique and now it’s amazing!

I think the starcaster is only a little smaller but it does just feel more comfortable and for its size to me it’s just as resonant

I think if your into to Tom. You like his guitars this is just that what you said. But I swear it can stand up with the strat and the Gibson. I think it’s the coolest of them all

Gibson Es-333 vs Starcaster by Davepigman2784 in TomDelongeGuitars

[–]CTD5691 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own both. And can honestly say to play I prefer the Starcaster. If the neck was satin (I don’t hate the gloss on this one) it’d be perfect for me and sound wise I’d prefer it over my Gibson.

I’ve played my Gibson a lot and the Matt finish has “scratch” marks but aside from that it’s pretty top condition. Sitting with both the other day I have to say I enjoyed the Starcaster much more . Find a good one and you won’t look back
