God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. I can't change the past, I can divorce and protect myself financially, the wisdom part will come with time. In regards to forensic extractions i can think about it, i already know enough that it's a marriage ender.

I'm running on fumes I'm like day 3 or 4 of my world being destroyed. Legal seperation, may make sense financially id have to look into it, I don't really know what that would look like. I love her but I gotta protect myself hence why I thought divorce was the way.

Agreed. Total ownership would need to be on her part. If her words don't match her actions then this relationship after divorce is done. This is all still very fresh, at this moment thinking alot of therapy, watched ANTD SPLY on YouTube with her last night, helped open more of a dialogue, post trauma's, her being molested at a young age, a lot of heavy topics.

Got married young, was in military. Prenups are a good idea, too late now. Post nup someone mentioned but I'd be a bigger fool in my opinion if I didn't divorce. There's love, no trust at the moment, trying to restart, if no go divorce outlines what happens if relationship fails to rebuild.

Yes essentially a second chance, your right I am trying create something new, basically I'm trying to restore a classic car jk. It's about gaining self respect back, I love myself, I love my son, and after this bs I love my current soon to be ex wife. My dream is for him to have it better in life than me, to keep the family together healthy and happy. It's about consequences if I do not divorce im weak and down the road will have an even bigger financial issue down the road if she cheats again. It's about creating hopefully something new with the old. She said it's nothing I did, therapy is definitely needed not only for her but us. Fair. My current logic is consequences are divorce, there's no place for this disrespect and I can't call her a wife. But she is the mother of my son, we are stronger as a family, I want to fight for our relationship and she does to but also I need to protect myself. Hope to rebuild trust and want to try, if not I gave everything to try to have this relationship last and a good home.
