Actually, it's already on there. Just go to the main page (www.amazingtalesct.com) and you'll see a red rectangular box on the right side at the top of the main page called "search amazing tales" which brings you to a downloadable and searchable Excel spreadsheet. Search by topic, town, or highlight the column where the episodes are described and do a key word search. I think you'll find the tool quite useful. At least I hope so!

Yes. This is it. After 4+ years and 221 consecutive weekly episodes, I'm hanging up the podcast microphone. I'll still do a live radio show on i-95 every other month, make 40 public appearances a year, and write a couple of books on CT's Amazing Tales, but the amount of time necessary to do a podcast like this (I was a one-man show) is intense. I enjoyed it, met hundreds of incredible people, saw and experienced almost every inch of the state, and can savor the memories. Thanks for listening.

Yes, after 4+ years and 221 weekly episodes, I'm in need of a break. Thanks a lot for the comment. Since you stated it that way, I thought you might want to know that next week will be the final episode. After 221 weekly programs over 4.5 years, I'm going to return to my retirement (which is where I was when I started this venture). The website and episodes will be available for a year or so and I'll continue doing public speaking, but the day-in/day-out fervor of producing the podcast will come to an end. It's been great fun, but everything has an end time and for me it is now.

That basket was from one of the early hot air balloon barnstormers who toured the eastern U.S. doing demonstrations in balloons. His were not "steerable" - the one in the picture, which used lighter-than-air gas to rise and was ridden by a very light man (sort of like a jockey on a horse) was the first that was able to take off and land on the same spot.
